Give your website a lively, reptile-tail cursor that follows your mouse with a smooth trailing effect, scales on interactive elements, and creates a ripple on click — all in pure HTML, CSS & JS. Perfect for portfolios, landing pages, and any site where you want instant “wow.”
What you’ll build (in under 5 minutes):
A custom circular cursor that replaces the default pointer
A soft “reptile tail” of mini-orbs that ease toward your mouse
Magnetic scale on links/buttons (hover to enlarge)
Click ripple effect with automatic cleanup
Lightweight, no dependencies, mobile-safe fallback
