Day One: We will go over how to start creating your own graphic and web design business. This training day includes picking a business name, registering your business with the city and state that you live in, picking an invoicing and project management software, setting up your business checking accounts properly, defining your target market, defining your services and pricing, and a plan on how you can create residual income. That’s right. For designers, having that recurring monthly income that you can rely on is very important. We will also go over how to easily use ai in your business planning and project creations to help you complete everyday tasks.
Day two: We will review marketing, branding, and managing your design business. You will learn to define your company brand and create your logo design. We will discuss how to use social media for brand awareness. This day, we will begin your website design process, define a call to action, and more. You will learn how to utilize customer retention, referrals, and customer care. We will pick a managed service software and other software choices to get you signed up and rolling. Finally, we will learn about partnering or hiring out services to other designers or even expanding your business by hiring employees.
Day Three: You will receive graphic and web design software training. We will show you our recommended website hosts and domain registrars, how to use them, and our recommended software, themes, plugins, and more. You will receive pre- and website launch lists, and we will go over what each step means and how to use them. You will receive sample graphic design job questionnaires for your clients and we will go over how to handle job requests, revisions, and more. Followup meetings for website performance will be taught as well as how to hire out services to contracted designers or design partners. Last, you will learn how to set up web tracking tools, tags, social audiences, and additional tracking and supportive software to get the most out of your and your client’s websites.
Day Four: You will receive any additional website training or support you may need to run your website smoothly with a call to action to convert to purchases. Any other design software training you feel you need, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Canva, etc., will also be offered.
