Add a WordPress top bar with a very simple plugin on your website. Regardless of whatever theme you are using, this TOP BAR plugin simply works great and makes it super easy for anyone to add a top bar to their sites. Extremely useful for Woocommerce sites if you want to announce something sales and redirect users to that particular link. You have also had the option to fix the top bar so it is always visible and remains in the top position.
This tutorial gives also gives a brief idea on how you can add icons to it, while as per the theme, you may require to use CSS accordingly. The exact CSS used on the site may not exactly match yours – so having an idea of the CSS will be really helpful. The plugin used is absolutely free though it does have a pro version, for most, I believe the free version will work great.
