Initially, I will say it is a requirement to have an upgraded (Business & Ecommerce) hosting plan on Wix in order to accept payments on your Wix website.
Natively, you can now integrate with a HUGE variety of payment processors and can even offer payment features like installment pay or buy now, pay later models. Certainly, the style of payment processor you use will vary greatly depending on your website and business model. However, there should be NO more restrictions to you as a website owner when it comes to payment processors here in Wix. Every major payment processor and model is now included.
Lastly, when you enable accepting payments on your Wix website, it enables all of your Wix apps, such as Wix Bookings, Wix Stores, Wix Events and Wix Music to accept payments as well.
