What is Yandex Metrica? Yandex Metrica is a web analytics tool that helps you get visual reports and video records of user activity, track traffic sources and look at the performance of online and offline advertising.
So, how to add Yandex Metrica to your Wix website? In order to add this tool, you will simply navigate to your settings tab and under the advanced settings you will select the tracking and analytics tab, from there you will be given the chance to add a new tool and between the options you will find Yandex Metrica.
Once you click on the Yandex Metrica button and choose to add it to your Wix website, you will be asked to enter a tag number which is related to your account – if you already have one – if you don’t have an account, you will need to sign up for Yandex.
After you finish signing up for Yandex – if you are going to sign up for it – you will then go to the second step which is searching for Yandex Metrica and follow the steps that you will be guided through. You are going to fill a form in which you will be asked for a tag name and the best thing for that is to put the name of your website without the “www” and “.com” , you will add your web address which is just the URL. Every other thing in the form is easy to handle but make sure you are turning the session reply analysis on because this is going to give you a more detailed recording of user activity on your website.
When you get done with this part, you will go to the next page where you will have three options: the HTML, the CMS and website builders, and the tag management systems. Once you have done that, Yandex Metrica will be added to your Wix tracking tools and analytics.
