Easy Hexagon Cushion Tutorial – English Paper Piecing without the paper! – Patchwork and Quilting

#patchwork #hexagons #englishpaperpiecing

This is a tutorial for how I created my English paper pieced hexagon cushion. I used pre-cut Liberty fabric 1 1/4″ hexagons from Ava and Neve and instead of paper I used 1″ Hexiform hexagons which are designed to be left in. I show you how I whip stitched the rows of hexagons together and how I quilted it simply by machine. I show you how to trim you panel so as not to cut through your stitches and I demonstrate how to make it into a cushion with an envelope opening at the back.
