Effortless Web Design Proposals: The Fast, Fun, and Profitable Way

Ep. 292 – Web design proposals can be…tricky…putting it mildly.

It can often be difficult to figure out what to charge, what the true scope of a project is, what to put in your proposal to protect you from scope creep but also not overwhelm your potential clients.

But what I’ve realized over the years is that there’s something between you and someone paying you/becoming a client; and it’s your proposal, your quoting system (if fortunate enough to have one.)

Your proposal is the bridge that moves an inquiring lead to a paying client so to that end, I think we should make every effort to make proposals as seamless, systematized and conversion based as possible.

To help make proposals faster, more efficient and dare I say, even fun, I’m stoked to have CEO of SmartPricingTable.com Joe Ardeeser who joins the podcast in episode 292 to share how he, as a former digital agency owner, productized, templatized and streamlined his proposal process to be able to scale and become more profitable in his web design agency.

In this one we cover:

✅ How much or how little should be included in web design proposals
✅ Whether it’s industry standard for agencies to offer a large brochure style brochure
✅ Or whether it’s best to keep proposals brief, with bullet points and text-based only
✅ How options in proposals can 2X, 3X and often 4X your project revenue
✅Unrelated, how Joe got through a serious case of carpal tunnel syndrome

We’ve talked quite a few times on the podcast about proposals and one thing I’ve learned is that everyone has a different way to go about it.

I can say in full confidence that Joe knows his stuff as he has some very poignant and fresh perspective on proposals that worked for scaling his agency!

Enjoy!
