Today I’m gonna break down how websites are constructed in Squarespace.
We start off with the biggest entity, which is the website, then like a Russian doll effect, we will delve into individual blocks. So first up, we have the website. Then within the website we have multiple pages.
These pages contain sections. Think of sections like panels in a page, or individual billboards that combine multiple elements. Those elements in Squarespace become blocks.
We add a new page to Squarespace. We then choose how many sections we want in our page, then we can add individual blocks to each page section.
