Super important note – this tutorial is for Squarespace 7.0 sites like Brine, Bedford, and York themes. If you are using the new 7.1 interfaces, you need to watch this tutorial: https://youtu.be/FHzPyV4xVFM

How do you know which one you are using? Check out this video here:

This tutorial will show you how to customize the text for different types of image blocks. Now to be super-duper clear, this is not for gallery images, this is for on-page image types like inline, poster, card, overlap, collage, and stack.

Inline images can have a caption, while the other five get a title, subtitle and a button if you want one.

Using CSS, we can change all of them to a new style, or specify based on the image type. There are a LOT of different options, and I walk you through them all in this tutorial, but I also wrote them all down for you.

The main codes are pretty simple to remember:
.image-title p
.image-subtitle p
.image-button a

BUT if you want to specify code changes for only one image type, you need to add more to those three codes above! I created a free cheat sheet for you with all the details – head on over to https://insidethesquare.co/images to grab a copy of the PDF.
