I am so excited to share this video with you! I am a graphic designer and illustrator and have been looking for a professional template creator to build my new portfolio website on! I decided to go with Wix.com because they have over 500 awesome templates and dozens of templates geared towards portfolio websites.
I decided to go with the Textile Designer Template, because the images are nice and large and thats what I wanted for my new site. The text and other elements are all black so it really goes with my monochromatic branding.
I created a navigation that shows the different categories for my portfolio: Logos, Music Covers and Book Covers. This way my clients can quickly and easily find different works, either on their desktop or mobile device.
Adding images was super intuitive and even though this was my first time using Wix, I was able to navigate the software and drag and drop my content without much challenge at all! Yay!
I also added an About page and a Contact page so my clients can get to know me more and get in touch easily.
