HOW TO CREATE A SQUARESPACE DROP DOWN MENU // Want to learn how to create a drop down menu in Squarespace? This is one of my most requested Squarespace tutorials and it’s actually super easy to add a drop down menu in your navigation. In this Squarespace training, I show you how to use folders to create drop down navigation menu in Squarespace.

CLARIFICATION: In the video, I mention that you can add index pages to drop down menus but I failed to clarify an important point. Oops! You can’t directly add an index page to a folder to create you drop down menu but there is a super simple workaround. You add a link to your folder by clicking “ADD A PAGE” and then “LINK”. For the link title, put what you want it to say in the drop down menu, and then for the link destination, click the gear icon and then click “PAGE” in the left menu. Search for your index page (it will have the icon next to it that looks like 3 lines stacked) and then click “SAVE.”
