In today’s video I show you how to use Wix to build a website. In a few quick and easy steps you’ll see how we get started and jump in using the Wix editor to easily manage website elements. We jump into the platform by picking the perfect template. When you’re just starting out feel free to take some time and take a look at the theme marketplace as there are number of options based on business, categories, look/feel and more.
Using a WYSIWG (what you see is what you get) interface, the Wix Editor allows even absolute beginners to easily build a website. Other CMS platforms such as WordPress can require you to jump through a number of hoops to have a beautiful website with a seamless user experience. Wix allows you to fold in the bells and whistles with your discretion – keeping the website build process quick and easy.
Take a moment to note some of the common questions we address in the video. This includes on-site SEO, Alt Tags and the ease of publishing your website (with domain integration). The navigation in the Wix Editor makes these options rather intuitive and we go over them in sufficient detail so you’re all set to get rolling.
