Squarespace Integrations is not the only way to extend the functionality of your site. The other way is by using Squarespace plugins.
In order to use the plugins, you should have a business or a commerce level plan, before you can use them. Also, you can test the plugins during your free trial.
There are both premium and free Squarespace plugins that you can install to your Squarespace site.
Although Squarespace doesn’t offer support for these plugins, you might get support through the developer of the plugin.
In this video, I’m showing how to install one Squarespace plugin called Countdown Timer. It was a free download.
In addition on showing you the installation process, I will also tell you:
– The difference between WordPress and Squarespace plugin installations.
– Why you should be a bit familiar with tweaking the code (however, you don’t have to learn how to code, so no worries!).
– Why the user experience related to installation instruction varies depending on the plugin developer.
– Where to find this plugin I’m about to install.
– Places where you can find plugins for your Squarespace website.
Finally, if you get stuck with the installation of this plugin (or any other plugin for that matter), click the link to the blog post at the top of this description. Then, leave a comment to this blog post or contact me through my contact form. I’ll see what I can do!
