Learn how to rank your Wix website on the first page of Google in 24 hours with an on-page SEO hack. Wix Websites can rank first page of search with the right knowledge.
Step 1. Do the Wix basics
• Wix does provides some good tools for SEO but they wont get you ranking on first page of Google
• Basically the steps you need to follow to get ranked on first page of google with Wix are:
○ Complete the basic SEO steps
○ Connect the site with Google console
○ Decide what keywords or phrases to target to rank for
○ Draft the content
○ Publish and optimize (and repeat!)
Most Wix templates have thin content that google is not sure what to do with. So we fix this by focusing on a specific keyword or phase for selected pages of our website.
Step 2. Get the Apps
To do this you do need a two apps and here is why:

STEP 3. Semrush find keywords
We need to do some keyword research to find keywords and phrases closely related to our topic that have low competition.
To do this we head over to Semrush, if you don’t know what Semrush is it is basically one of the best SEO tools available, I’m not going to go into all the features of Semrush today but instead just show you how to find a good keyword / phrase to select.
If you do not have a Semrush account there is a link above. There is a free version and its got enough functionality to get started (I’m using the free version here so you can see what you can do without paying anything).
Step 4. Surfer Content Editor And Tools
Now that we have our topic and used Semrush to give us low competition keywords that we should be able to rank for we know need to produce highly optimized content.
To do this we need another app called Surfer SEO.
So once we are signed up and logged into SurferSEO head to content editor, add your keyword, in this case ‘Shipbob 3pl review’ or ‘SEO Agency Hawthorn’
As you follow Surfers guidance the content score will increase. This process is the same for Wix, Square, WordPress website platforms.
When you are done, add the content to your webpage, and publish.
Then go back to surfer to run the audit and recheck content score.
The audit page will give you lots of feedback that you can use to further optimize you content and improve your ranking.
Review the result of the audit and do the final optimizations required to get that top 2 position.
Once we get to top 2 we have a very high probability of hitting our goal of 1st page google in a short period of time. Again, this works for Wix websites, Square, WordPress or any other website platform, google really does not care about the platform it cares about the 200+ data points on the algorithm.
You need to make sure your new webpage is sent to Google for indexing. There are lots of videos on this and I’m not going to cover this in detail here. However you basically need a Google console account, and you need to force Google to index this new page and content.
Step 5.
24 hours later…..
Final test – lets google our target keyword / phrase ‘Shipbob 3pl’ / ‘SEO Agency Hawthorn’ and see where we land, and as you will see we land on first page of google and bing!
