As you can see, the key difference between Kajabi and Squarespace is in the types of products the platforms are designed to sell.
When using Kajabi’s built-in marketing automations, you can segment your list according to the criteria you specify. Easily tag and target users according to your own specific criteria, so you can ensure that you’re sending the right message to the right people at the right time.
Kajabi’s marketing automation also includes marketing templates which are essentially marketing playbooks, pre-filled with the most common automation actions. On both platforms, you’ll enjoy drag-and-drop simplicity, so you can easily build a beautiful website all on your own. Design-wise, Squarespace lets you create some stunning results, while Kajabi pages tend to reflect a modern and clean look. No matter, pages across both platforms are extremely customizable, and you can change entire themes to give every page its own style.
Course creation is truly where Kajabi excels. Not only does it deliver courses behind a secure, intuitive workspace but it also fosters engagement between your students and you.
When it comes to hosting online courses via Squarespace, you’ll have to get a little creative. In order to sell courses on Squarespace, you’ll have to upload your course lessons to individually password-protected pages.
Sure that sounds like a simple solution, but its appeal quickly fades when you realize that every student would get the same password to access the material, and if just one of those students shares the password with others, there goes a chunk of your product for free.
Another option might be to use Squarespace to host your site and then use a learning management system to build and host your courses. But, that means an added cost, integrating the two systems, and a potentially clunky user experience.
