This can be a confusing topic for beginners, If you’re someone who is still confused about whether to become a Web Designer or a Web Developer, then this video will give you a basic idea about these two. This is part one of the video series of Difference Between Web Design and Development.
So what is Web Design?
As the name suggests, Web design refers to the design or looks of the website. Generally, Web Design doesn’t require coding or programming, Web design means designing layouts, UI, and UX. There are mainly three types of web designers 1 User Experience or UX, 2 User Interface or UI, and Visual. And it is quite obvious that those who fall under those three categories are called Web Designers. Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc. are some of the software used by web designers for designing UI, UX, and Prototyping.
Here are some common Web Design Terms –
1 UX – UX is also known as User Experience.
2 UI – UI stands for User Interface.
3 Prototype – It is the demo or mock-up of a website, Prototype of a website can be just a UI design or interactive UI with clickable elements.
