In this Square Space e-commerce tutorial video, I demonstrate how easy it is to set up your store using the Square Space website builder.
How’s it going, everybody? Welcome back. And today a quick video to kind of teach you a little bit about Squarespace is E commerce. So just to help you get started with your online shop, I’m going to just show you guys around real quick before we can if you are interested in Squarespace, you’ll find links to discounts in the description down below. I’ll save you a little bit more cash when getting started with Squarespace. And speaking of getting started, let’s go ahead and click this button. Or you can just click templates. So anyways, the get started button will take you to the templates. If you’re completely new, and you just started your account, or you just logged in, let’s say you’re new, it might ask you a little bit more questions. But yeah, so you can start with a blank slate, which is definitely going to look more original. Or you can save a little bit more time. And you can just select whichever one to maybe get you going a little bit quicker than usual. Okay, so let’s just start. For example, if you’re going with a store, you can select this one, but it doesn’t really matter which one you choose. So let’s just select I like this one. So like the nature like the theme, let’s just go ahead and select that one. Because at the end of the day, whichever one you choose, you can just turn it into whatever you want.
In the end, because you know you have that level of customization at the end of the day, you can use the assistant if you’re completely new, but I assume you already know a thing or two about Squarespace if you’re here for e commerce, okay. kind of showing an entire description here or pictures or whatever, you just want to get straight to the product, let’s just go with this one I do like one, I like that one a little bit more. And then you have your store. So here is your main page. And here is your store page. You can even edit these just like any other store. And you can follow the steps by the way, which will really help you. So I do recommend, if you would like to just kind of go through the steps, but I’m just gonna, I’m just gonna hide that actually. Alright, so um, let’s just follow along here and see what we can do. So you can select one of these, alright, and you if you just want to go straight with select the Detail page here, you can select the kind of the detail page once you click the item. So maybe you want a big picture of your product, or maybe kind of full picture or half picture. So let’s just go with half. I think it makes more sense here. And right here, if you want to edit, you can just edit. And you can change the product name, under details, the description, you can add new images. And it’s the same thing by the way. So right here, I’m editing a product that is already there. So it’s a physical product, but you can come up with your own page. So let’s say let’s just go with store here, you can add store, let’s just add another store, right just to show you guys and you can create a new store or a new category within your already existing store. And this is obviously only for the US so unless you’re in the US you’re not gonna be able to use this and you can select your currency here depending on your location and that would be pretty much it. And once you’re done with setting up your payment information, just go to shipping because obviously if you’re, that’s if it’s a physical product, you can add your shipping options and yeah, you can adjust.
