Hey everybody, Jack from Nutshell here, today we’re going to talk about content that ranks on search engines. AKA SEO content. SEO stands for search engine optimization, and if it sounds fancy or complicated, it’s not. It’s really just the practice of making stuff that search engines can understand.
Search engines don’t engage with content the same way people do. They use robots called “crawlers” to scan each piece of content and look for SEO indicators, like keywords and so on. And if it’s done correctly, optimizing for search engines won’t affect the quality of your actual content like readability or helpfulness.
Because at the end of the day, you’re still making content for humans. Google crawly bots aren’t your customers—people are.
So let’s talk about the top ten easiest things you can do to ensure your content starts ranking on search engines, getting the visibility it deserves.
