Squarespace Review: Is This The Best Website Builder In 2021? Transcript:
Hello everyone Carson here and in today’s video, I am going to be taking you through a review and a basic rundown of the best website builder in 2021, which is Squarespace. Now before we get into this video if you want to check them out, because I am very confident they are one of the greatest website builders of 2021. And personally I ranked them as the best. Now, of course, let’s get into the video. Squarespace was made in 2004. And it’s since become one of the most successful website builders on the market. It was created mainly for small business owners and solo entrepreneurs, which is really, really good. So it’s definitely gonna fit you if you need to use it because I also have portfolios and everything else you can even think of. So it is really a very good platform.
Now, Squarespace is a hosted website builder, which means you don’t have to look to buy a website host on your own. It’s all integrated into Squarespace, all you have to do is sign up with a Squarespace plan. And it will let you create a super professional site in your browser without coding and with only drag and drop editing. Thanks to a super user friendly and intuitive CMS. Now it starts at $12 a month, which is actually really good, especially for a website builder and hosting integration system. They also offer a free two week trial.
So you can try the entire product out before actually buying and using it. Now they offer a bunch of really intuitive e commerce features, and an automatically integrated e commerce shop and blog for you to things which are very nice and really add to the benefits of this builder. They’ve got tons of different integrations and apps, and they offer multitude of different templates for your websites. So no matter what type of website you want to build, they’ve got a design for you to start off of hopping into Squarespace. So just to take a look at it. Let’s go ahead and here I am on my dashboard.
As you can see, let’s hit Create website, we’re just going to go ahead and run through a really simple one. A really simple basically how to creating your own website. Now first, you just pick what your website’s about, for example, politics, nonprofit, restaurant, etc. Let’s just pick a random category. And go ahead and hit next. Once you pick a category, it’s going to ask you what your top goals are. So like let’s say I want to collect donations, I click Next I select all the goals. If I want to sell products to I can select that goal.
Basically, you pick all the goals you want and hit next, then once you hit next, it’s going to ask you where you are at. So I’ll pick a category and hit finish. And then it will give me a bunch of different templates I can select from. Now I can select whichever template I want. Like I think this one looks really nice. So let’s go ahead and hit start with this template. Once you select the template, of course, it will load up and you will be introduced to your website where you can just fill out the title of the website and then hit Continue.
And then it just gives you a super simple step by step tutorial on how to you know edit and customize your website. So I’d highly recommend reading through all that and then hitting get started. Once you do that, though, it’s so so simple. All you have to do is hit this little Edit button at the top of the page. And you can edit your website as much as you want. It’s honestly an incredibly simple Website Builder.
