Squarespace review verdict

If you want a website builder that combines ease of use with really strong design tools, Squarespace is an excellent choice. Its templates, ecommerce features and integrated extras — like email marketing, appointment scheduling and tools for selling online courses — make the platform a great all-rounder.

That said, Squarespace isn’t perfect. Its lack of multi-currency selling features, limited range of apps, and restrictions on deep customization mean that Squarespace won’t suit every project — particularly those involving international ecommerce.

But overall, Squarespace is definitely worth serious consideration as your website building solution — particularly if you’re a small business or a creative, or if you need to sell access to gated content. It’s also a good choice if you need to accept bookings for your services.
